GH Squared’s latest innovation, the GH Eye system, generated significant interest at the Rolling Stock Networking event on 2 July. Demonstrated alongside Tidyco’s C170 cab HVAC unit, the technology was showcased through a live dashboard featuring four different time-lapsed HVAC monitoring scenarios.

GH Squared and Tidyco Ltd are excited to unveil the upcoming launch of a state-of-the-art remote condition monitoring system designed for rail HVAC units, powered by the 'GH Eye' RCM system. The in-service demonstrator is planned for late 2026 and extending into 2027, with support from Porterbrook and Northern Trains. This innovation aims to transform HVAC maintenance practices and enhance customer satisfaction

GH Squared has had the privilege of supporting Symetrica to develop a platform of world-class mobile radiation detection products over the last two years, working alongside their outstanding team of physicists and engineers.

GH Squared are pleased to announce a long-term support contract with radiation detection specialists, Symetrica, following their work with the technology company last year. Richard Haines says, “Symetrica is a really exciting company to work with. They’re on a growth trajectory, with a strong team in Southampton and Massachusetts and state-of-the-art products for threat detection and border security. We’ve built up a close relationship over the last year, and aim to provide Symetrica with a safe pair of hands for Project Management and Electronic Design support where needed across their product roadmap”

Product qualification can be complex and incredibly time-consuming even for the most experienced engineers. Have you ever had to dive down rabbit holes in standards to really understand the overlapping and conflicting test requirements? GH Squared have been supporting Symetrica with this, using their experience of Environmental, Shock and Vibration, and EMC testing, with the help of test houses TÜV SÜD, THP Systems and Element Materials Technology to qualify product changes for military customer requirements and international certification.

Here's another quick update on what we've been up to: GH Squared Ltd were approached by LPRS Connected Solutions Ltd with the requirement to monitor a product on test and send the results over a network connection. The project utilised our electronic hardware, embedded firmware and mechanical design expertise to deliver a standalone solution based around an #STM32F7 microcontroller and #AzureRTOS. We have enjoyed working with LPRS and hope to assist them with other projects in the future.

GH Squared Ltd is pleased to announce the successful completion of a technical work package for Rochem Fyrewash Ltd. Rochem Fyrewash Ltd is a world leader in gas turbine and process compressor cleaning technology. Some of these systems are designed to operate in areas with potentially explosive atmospheres requiring compliance to the ATEX directive as well as the Safety of Machinery directive. GH Squared have been pleased to support Rochem in completing critical activities required to demonstrate compliance with the required directives; specifically, hazard/risk assessments, compliance assessments and technical file creation for one of their recent wash skid assemblies.
